Having a wet basement need no longer be a problem. We can eliminate your problem by installing an interior drain. Although we can not stop the water table from rising, our system catches it before it has a chance to reach the basement floor and leads it off to the sump pump.
The principle of the system is as follows:
- As the water rises due to the changing height of your water table, it reaches the height of the foundation footing and the basement floor.
- The joint where your basement floor and foundation meet is the point where the water problem is most likely to occur.
- We install a drain system consisting of 4" perforated pipe surrounded by 3/4" washed stone which catches the water before it has a chance to reach the basement floor.
- The water is lead to the sump pump via the system and pumped out through a discharge pipe.
- You will now have a dry basement floor and need never be aware of water your floor.
- You may also notice the basement dampness subside as well due to the dropping of the water table
